The Tidewater Coin Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the numismatic needs of collectors in the Tidewater Virginia area and to education regarding the history of coinage. The Club was established in February 1956 and has met continuously since. Regular club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30PM at the Norfolk VFW Lodge on Bartee Street in the Military Circle area.  Each meeting features door prizes, raffles, numismatic exhibits, refreshments, and an educational program on some aspect of numismatics. Dues are $15 per year for adults, $5 per year for junior members (under 18), $20 per year for a family membership, and $150 for an adult life membership. January is the annual membership renewal month. Meetings are open to anyone with an interest in numismatics. Membership is encouraged.
