Participating in a consignment auction of coins, it's important to conduct your own research before making purchasing decisions. Grading is indeed subjective in the field of numismatics, and individual opinions may vary among different collectors. Please attend the pre-auction lot viewing session to examine the coins firsthand, to formulate your own opinion.
All coins are unconditionally guaranteed by the consignee against counterfeiting, altered dates, or mint marks. Toning and grading are NOT guaranteed. Should there be any questions regarding the authenticity of any coin, it shall be left with the auctioneer at the conclusion of the sale and will be forwarded to PCGS or NGC at the purchaser’s expense for authentication. This charge is Non-Refundable. Once the coins have left the premises, neither the consignee nor the auctioneer will guarantee the authenticity of the coins.

ABSENTEE BIDS: You are invited to place absentee bids on any auction lot(s). Absentee bids must be emailed to bob@bobscoinsauction.com Deadline for absentee bids is April 25, 2024, 12:00 PM. Please send lot number(s) and maximum bid per lot. Payment is due on winning lots via Credit Card, so please provide Name, Address, Card Number, Expiration Date and Security Code. Shipping cost and insurance will be charged to buyer. Return privilege is 3 days after receipt. Receipt of your absentee email will be confirmed.

PERMANENT BIDDER’S NUMBERS: We will continue to honor permanent bidder number but require an updated address and sign terms and condition form. Please stop at registration deck to let us know you are in the room and bidding, on day of the auction.

TERMS: No Buyers Fee if paying by Approved Check, and Cash. If paying with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, a 4% Premium (lost cash discount) will be charged.

Statements made day of the sale take precedence over the printed catalog.

This auction will in addition to floor and absentee bidders, now be live on the internet. The major advantage is now you will have the opportunity to preview all lots with pictures. This will give you more time to preview and evaluate all the lots.

The format is changing to help you find coins of interest easier, by following a denomination flow from cents to gold.

A big new feature, and the most popular bidder request, is on auction day we will have a projector showing the current coin lot up for bid, so it will be easier to follow the sale.

Now the most important part for floor bidders, you will continue to enjoy 0% buyers fee, and a complimentary box lunch (internet bidders will be a 10% buyers fee, plus 4% credit card fee (lost cash discount), and shipping, handling, and insurance cost).
