Description

Lot of 2 Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollars – 90% Silver – Circulated

Offered here is a lot of two genuine U.S. Walking Liberty Half Dollars, one of the most iconic designs in American coinage. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the Walking Liberty Half Dollar was struck by the United States Mint from 1916 through 1947.

Both coins are well circulated, showing substantial honest wear from years of use. Although the dates are no longer visible, major design elements remain identifiable, including Walking Liberty on the obverse and the American eagle on the reverse.

Each Walking Liberty Half Dollar was originally struck in 90% silver and 10% copper, with an original weight of 12.50 grams and a diameter of 30.6 mm. Because these examples are heavily circulated, their actual weights may be below original Mint specifications.

Lot Highlights:

  • Two Walking Liberty Half Dollars
  • 90% silver U.S. coinage
  • Dates worn away / unreadable
  • Heavily circulated condition
  • Classic Weinman Walking Liberty design
  • Both coins pictured are included
  • Excellent option for a silver collection, type collection, or circulated U.S. coin lot

Condition: Both coins exhibit heavy circulation wear, scratches, marks, discoloration and other signs consistent with extensive use. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual coins you will receive.

You are bidding on the exact two coins pictured.
