the American Legion on Rt 23 in Sussex NJ

The Sussex County Coin Club was founded in 1975, and incorporated in 1978. Our club is a member club of both the GSNA (Garden State Numismatic Association) and the ANA (American Numismatic Association). We have meetings throughout the year on the second Monday of every month, with the exception of August, when we meet with some affiliated coin clubs for a large meeting in Hackettstown NJ, and in December when we celebrate the Christmas season with a party for members only. With the exception of the December Christmas Party, we welcome visitors of all ages and levels of experience.

Our club meetings typically incorporate a short 'club business' section of time, followed by refreshments, show & tell, a presentation, a small raffle, and a door prize. The club also hosts a spring and a fall coin shows open to the public at the Ogdensburg NJ firehouse. We have members of all levels of collecting experience, so don't be shy. We look forward to meeting you.

Our club's goals include encouraging youth involvement in the hobby reaching out to working with Boy Scouts earning their Merit Badges, and assisting with any local educational programs on coin collecting in schools.
