I would like to earn your vote for a governor position on the board of the American Numismatic Association (ANA). I have been a life-long coin collector and avid participant in numismatic ventures in general. I will bring a fresh take on what it means to be a part of this prestigious organization.
I am the founder of Coin Dealers Helping Coin Dealers and RoundTable Trading. The name may not lend itself to what the association has now become as we heavily focus on engaging collectors and dealers alike. In our two short years, we have been able to accomplish more than we had ever dreamed of. We have raised tens of thousands of dollars for various causes. Creating inseparable bonds between coin collectors and dealers in a way that has never been done before. Giving them the tools and access they need to flourish in our hobby. The relationships we build everyday have spilled over into the coin show circuit, proving to increasing traffic and table sales.
I have committed my career to promote coin dealers, who in turn, will create a strong new base of collectors. Merging the gap between veteran dealers and the new generation of dealers coming in has been and should be one of our main focuses moving forward.
Through the power of social media networking, I will make it my goal for my first two years on the board to continue to grow this new family of numismatists. I will work hard to grow the membership of the ANA and work to break through the red tape with new fresh ideas to build a foundation for generations to come.
I have participated in work groups with the Industry Council for Tangible Assets (ICTA), I work on projects with, and am a Life Member of the ANA 6471 and PNG Full Member 783. One project we are spearheading is the Great American Coin Hunt. This campaign could prove to be the broadest reaching promotions in numismatic history. I am proud to have the support of the ANA as we continue to build on this project.
We are putting together our own coin show where we intend to implement ideas to bring in new collectors.
The energy I have witnessed from the next generation of coin collectors and young dealers through social media is truly inspiring. The ANA has the potential to harness this energy and lead the path as it has done for generations. I am looking forward to playing a part in that. With your vote, I pledge to continue to expand the family atmosphere in our hobby that we have built organically.
